Personal Experience & Biography
“My name is Andrea, and I’m so glad you’re here!
I have been a licensed counselor since 2017, working first in New Jersey and then in Japan for 5 years, before returning to the States in 2026. I have worked in community mental health, group practices and private practice. I provide individual therapy in English and Italian, offering a supportive, affirming space for adults (18+)
navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where you can strengthen resilience, improve relationships, and move toward lasting change.
My goal is to help you get closer to the person you want to be, living the life you want to live. My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. I use techniques from CBT, ACT, CPT, and EMDR. I am open, honest, direct and always welcome feedback.
My clients include those with PTSD, complex trauma, and adverse childhood experiences. Over the years I have worked with sexual assault survivors, disaster survivors, first responders, and veterans among others. I also work with individuals coping with OCD, eating disorders, and anxiety disorders.”
