I specialize in working with individuals and couples who have ADHD, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, burnout, unwanted behaviors, and poor self-esteem and confidence. The therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. My goal is for you to feel accepted as the beautifully flawed human that you are. First and foremost, I strive to understand you as a whole person, dial in on what you want out of therapy, and then help you get there. You will gain a trusted and knowledgeable therapist who genuinely cares that will be with you every step of the way. You can expect me to listen attentively, offer reflection and observations, ask permission before we engage in any interventions.
I think it’s important to understand what you’re experiencing, and that change is possible. I use education to teach people about the mind/body connection, how to understand their nervous system and the thoughts and behaviors associated with each state of the nervous system. We will explore family of origin, relationships, trauma, sleep, lifestyle habits, spirituality, and medical conditions that all contribute to brain health and well-being.
